Founder's Path - Amit Ahuja's Vision for Wellness

Founded on a personal journey of wellness, Yoga Lifestyle Clinic blossomed from a vision to share the transformative power of yoga for holistic health and balance.

A Turning Point in 2001

In 2001, Amit Ahuja was on the brink of surgery due to chronic sinusitis. However, a chance introduction to yoga not only spared him from the operation but also set him on a path of holistic healing. Within just 10-12 days of regular practice, sinusitis was eradicated from its very roots. This astonishing outcome left even medical professionals astounded. This surprising transformation ignited Amit’s deep passion for yoga and naturopathy.

Delving Deeper into Healing Arts

Amit’s interest in healing through natural methods grew stronger. He dove into studying naturopathy, yoga, and acupressure. He received formal training in Patiala and gained hands-on experience. However, he soon realized that formal education in this field was crucial for his journey to continue

Formal Education and Traditional Roots

Amit made a move to Pune, where he enrolled in the National Institute of Naturopathy, an autonomous body under the Ministry of AYUSH. It was here that he laid down a solid foundation in natural healing techniques by completing a comprehensive diploma program in naturopathy

Mastery and Healing Expertise

In 2008, Amit sought to deepen his understanding of traditional yoga. He joined the Bihar School of Yoga, the world’s very first yoga university. Here, he embraced the ancient Gurukul tradition of learning, living, and breathing yoga. That same year, Amit received his “yog deeksha” from Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati, who is currently a scientist at NASA and received the prestigious Padma Bhushan award in 2017.

Over the years, Amit continued to return to the Bihar School of Yoga, staying updated with the latest advancements. He engaged in courses every 8-10 months, emphasizing his commitment to mastering the ancient art of yoga.

Amit also delved into Ayurveda, earning the title of ‘Up Vaidya’. He merged this ancient medical science with his extensive knowledge of yoga.

Since 2013, Amit has focused on medical yoga therapies. He uses his expertise to help individuals on their healing journeys. He has also cleared Medical Yoga training from Gnosis Medical, Pune.
